The team

When execute.dk won the tender for COP15, the first step was to gather a strong team in order to carry out all tasks, including advertising for staff, screening of applicants, interview and selection of candidates as well as administration of those who were ultimately hired. At the end of June 2009, a dedicated project group consisting of four people was formed. The group’s only assignment was to manage COP15 together with execute.dk’s IT specialist.

The final team consisted of:

• Project Assistant: Christina Wongskul
• Project Assistant: Marie Eigen Møller
• IT Specialist: Simon Christiansen

The five persons in the climate team all possessed different functions. The division was made in order to make the team as efficient as possible.

Lise was responsible for the overall project planning, the recruitment process, carrying out interviews as well as communicating with UNFCCC and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Stig was responsible for planning the PR campaign, internal and external communication, carrying out interviews as well as communicating with UNFCCC and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Christina assisted in carrying out the interviews and was responsible for the daily communication with the candidates, but also handled general administrative tasks.

Marie had an administrative role, which included being responsible for calculating the pay to all 350 employees during COP15.

Simon developed the database system that execute.dk used in connection with COP15, and he also solved all technical challenges during the whole course.
