Social responsibility

• We constantly work on reducing our use of electricity and water
  
  
• We work out time sheets, pay slips and invoices electronically, and they are only printed out for particularly sound reasons
  
  
• We always chose power-saving units when purchasing new IT equipment
  
  
• We use sun screens instead of air-conditioning
  
  
• We switch off standby power to the extent possible when the office is closed
  
  
• We use low-energy lighting at our offices
  
  
• We take part in a waste sorting programme which includes recycling of cardboard
  
  
• We recycle paper in order to limit paper consumption
  
  
• We aim at enhancing the incentive to use public transport, for example by offering our employees employer-funded public transport
  
  
• We provide our employees with employer-funded bicycles as part of their pay package (at present only in the Netherlands)
  
  
• We aim at using public transport when going to client meetings and for other business purposes
  
  
• We prefer to use suppliers who have an active environment-friendly policy
  
  
• We consent to the UN Global Compact, and we put great value on employee satisfaction and the right to trade union membership
  
  
• We have a fixed strategy that take a healthy and curative course which implies that we encourage a healthy lifestyle and support the cure of illness.
