The history of execute.dk
began in October 2001 on Nørrebro in Copenhagen and was established by Kenneth Oldenburg and Preben Moll. Today the temp and recruitment business is situated in Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.
This timeline shows the highlights of the business
| 2001: | Established in the third quarter with a single client agreement in the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. |
| 2002: | A rough year during which a number of client agreements are made, but with not much sale. The advantage is, though, that it is a good summer so part of the work is done with sand between the toes. |
| 2003: | We move to larger office premises at Vodroffsvej 61, Frederiksberg. Steady growth, but another year where Danish economy is still a bit hesitating, which can be seen in our sales to each client. |
| 2004: | Solid growth in both the number of clients and in sales to the individual clients. Among others a number of activities are taken over from the closed-down temp agency Checkpoint at Copenhagen Business School. |
| 2005: | Continued strong increase of clients. execute.dk moves again to larger office premises at Vodroffsvej 59, Frederiksberg. |
| 2006: | Growth is now even larger, and we are working intensely on development strategies in order to create more dynamism in the business. It becomes even more exciting. |
| 2007: | Danish growth surpasses itself again. At the same time, the business’ new strategy is implemented, concerning the international recruitment of Nordic talent. The first client agreements are made in the Netherlands, which have been strategically chosen as the first international market where we establish a more focused marketing - it is working. |
| 2008: | We got off to a flying start, just as if 2007 never ended. Until summer time, new and challenging business keeps comming in, and we are continuously in a dialogue with potential and talentet new employees, so that we do not dry out. But autumn came also with us, and it seemed like most privately held businesses went on Christmas Holiday already mid November, at least no more business was conducted ... Due to these circumstances our financial result was not as good as we hoped for, and like a large Danish bank we are a little hesitant to set up a clear financial goal for 2009. We wish to see how the comming year will develop, and we will make an effort to invest in our continuous development. |
